Terms and Conditions of JLCPCB Parts Selection Service
The Parts Selection Service provided by JLCPCB is a value-added service designed to assist JLCPCB customers in resolving component mismatches when placing PCBA orders. The terms and conditions of the JLCPCB Parts Selection Service ( "Terms and Conditions" ) are as follows:
1. Service Fee
The manual parts selection process at JLCPCB is labor-intensive. To ensure a good user experience and high efficiency, a service fee of $10 is required for the JLCPCB parts selection service. This fee is non-refundable unless it is confirmed that JLCPCB cannot proceed with the service.
2. Required Information
Customers must provide detailed and accurate component information, including packaging, part number, and other key parameters. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in engineers being unable to complete the parts selection task, and the service fee will not be refunded.
3. Lead Time
Engineers will complete the parts selection within 1 to 2 working days after payment for the order is received.
4. Parts Selection
If no suitable parts can be found for all components, JLCPCB will arrange a full refund of the service fee. If suitable parts cannot be found for some of the components, a maximum of 50% of the service fee will be refunded.
5. Confirm Parts Selection
Customers should confirm that the components selected by JLCPCB meet their requirements before placing the PCBA order. Once the customer confirms and places the order, the parts selection service concludes. Engineers will no longer provide follow-up services, and JLCPCB is not responsible for any subsequent issues in the PCBA order production line.
Customers should carefully read and understand the terms of service before using the JLCPCB parts selection service. It is recommended to communicate with the online team before placing an order to ensure a full understanding of the service terms.
In the event of errors in the JLCPCB parts selection service, the following remedies are available:
1. Partial Refund
If JLCPCB’s engineers are unable to find suitable replacement parts during the selection process, a partial refund of the service fee, up to 50% of the service fee, will be arranged according to the customer’s order.
2. Re-selection
If the selection error is due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer, JLCPCB will require the customer to provide accurate information for a re-selection service, which may result in an additional charge.
3. Technical Support
JLCPCB will provide technical support to assist customers in verifying the correctness of the matched components. Ultimately, the customer is responsible for checking and confirming accuracy, and JLCPCB does not bear joint responsibility for any risks that may arise.
